About Me
Hi I’m Julie, and I am professional photographer based in Gravesend, Kent. I started Jo Jo’s Photographer back in 2005 when I offered to do a photoshoot at the nursery my son attended when he was only 2 years old. To my delight the photoshoot was a success and I haven’t looked back since! Everyone at the nursery used to call my son JoJo and that is where the name originated from!
I feel that during these difficult times value for money is very important, which is why Jo Jo’s prices are realistic and affordable to everyone.In fact my prices haven’t changed since 2007.
Studio Photoshoots
At Jo Jo’s we offer a very friendly and relaxed environment for our FREE photoshoots, these are located at our studio which is situated at Phoenix Framing in Gravesend’s town Centre. Smaller photoshoots of newborns etc are situated at my small home studio. My aim is to capture a more natural photograph whether it’s of a newborn baby, a toddler, a group of teenagers or the whole family and even your pets!
Home Photoshoots
Jo Jo’s provide a Home Photoshoot service too. I can visit your home and take a selection of photographs of your children in their natural home environment as well as the whole family, where everyone feels comfortable and happy.
Weddings
Weddings are such special ocassions and I always enjoy capturing many natural shots (as well as the posed ones!) on the happy couple’s big day! Again during these difficult times value for money is very important and I offer a wedding package for only £495.00, which includes shots of the guests arriving at church or registry office, then the ceremony, followed by photographs afterwards. All the images will then be put onto a usb for the couple, along with an 8 x 10 print of their choice.
Gift Vouchers
Treat someone special to Jo Jo’s gift vouchers. They can be redeemed towards the cost of prints, frames etc.. Prices start from £25 which includes the photoshoot plus a 5″ x 7″ print. These are ideal for baby showers, newborn shoots, birthday and anniversary presents, even cakesmashes for one year olds!
Photo Restoration
I can also repair your old photographs that are damaged or faded. You’ll be surprised how they will look after some tlc!

Passport Size Photos
Photographed by a professional photographer, not a machine!
We all know that a photo booth is not the best way to get that great shot that we’re happy to use for our passport and driving licence. Why not come to me and use my expertise of portrait photography to provide you with a photo that you really like!
This service is especially beneficial for young children and babies. Have you ever tried holding them up to the booth camera, whilst trying to keep the top of your head out of sight – near impossible!
I can supply all UK and EU passport and visa photographs, including the US and India square visa photographs. Just let me know what you need the photo for, as sizes and regulations keep changing.
